From Pucón
From Pucón, head towards Caburgua and follow the road for about 10 km.
200 meters past the Metreñehue bridge, on the right, you'll see a green and white sign with a little house that reads Kari Mapu. At that point, turn left onto the gravel road, crossing the highway (it's the road right next to Ahumados Trancura).
Follow the gravel road for about 3 km, always keeping to the main road on the left side, following the Kari Mapu signs.
Careful! Many GPS apps send you to the other side of the river with these coordinates. Be sure to follow the road that goes to Caburgua and the Termas de Rif.
Who are we?
How this project was born, turning a dream into reality.
Rosa, Jean-Marie and their four children are passionate about travel and discovery. This French-Spanish family has become truly multicultural as a result. In 2003 they set off for Santiago de Chile, where they lived for three years. They travelled the length of the country, from south to north, and fell under its spell, and that of its people, sharing their love for its landscapes and diversity. Like the Chileans they met, they came to speak of this country with real passion and naturally wanted to share it with others. That's how their dream grew into a tourism project, alongside their strong commitment to ecology and sustainable development. They chose the ninth region, near the resort town of Pucón, where forests, lakes, rivers and volcanoes mingle beneath the Andes mountain range, and a beautiful property of nearly five hectares of majestic centuries-old trees, bordered by the Liucura River.
